New York Distilling Co opens Jaywalker bar

Launching today (11 June), Jaywalker is a new cocktail bar and event space inside the Bushwick distillery of New York Distilling Company (NYDC). NYDC said the bar is an ‘ode to the city’s artists and rebels’, with its name echoing the brand’s Jaywalk Rye. The whiskey uses a 17th-century variety of New York rye that is just one-third the size of conventional rye, resulting in a less ‘spicy’ expression.
