Mike D Unveils Solo Debut ‘Thank You’ with “True Colors”

Mike D 5D, photo by Sam Finelli Mike D has been making his comeback since May with two singles, scattered live dates and other auspicious moves, and he culminated that campaign today by announcing Thank You, his debut album. Arriving on Aug. 28 via Fontana, The Beastie Boy’s solo record is the first release from any member of the legendary trio since 2011’s Hot Sauce Committee Part Two.
